About Jacobsen

An in-frame effect kitchen with raised-panel detail

Jacobsen is an in-frame effect kitchen door with a 5-piece solid ash frame and a raised ash veneer centre panel. It gives you the look of a traditional framed kitchen, but with a more accessible door construction and a cleaner, more flexible format.

The door is 20mm thick with a 90mm frame. This includes a 28mm routered frame detail and a 5mm routerline, giving the cabinetry extra shadow and structure around the door face. The result is a door with more depth than a plain shaker, and more traditional presence than a flat panel design.

Painted ash with a furniture-led feel

Jacobsen is available in painted ash or sanded ash, with the face, edges and reverse finished to match. The painted ash finish allows subtle grain to remain part of the surface, giving the door a more natural and crafted feel than a smooth painted MDF finish.

The raised centre panel gives each colour more movement. Softer shades feel warm and classic, while stronger colours such as Pantry Blue, Light Teal and Cardamom gain extra depth from the frame and router detail.

A refined alternative to a full in-frame kitchen

Jacobsen is a strong choice if you like the look of an in-frame kitchen but want a simpler, more practical door format. The routered frame detail creates the impression of a framed cabinet front, while the raised panel gives the kitchen a more traditional, furniture-like character.

It works beautifully across islands, tall cabinetry, glazed dressers, utility rooms, pantry storage, boot room furniture and fitted living areas.

Designed as a complete Mastercraft kitchen

In a Mastercraft design, Jacobsen would be planned around your room, your storage, your appliances and the way you want the space to feel. The door gives the kitchen its classic structure, but the finished result comes from how the colour, handles, worktops, lighting, flooring and wider room details are brought together.

Your Jacobsen kitchen would be designed as a complete Mastercraft room, not just a set of cabinet fronts.
