Aylesford is a micro shaker kitchen door with a slim 5-piece solid ash frame and a flat ash veneer centre panel. It gives you the structure of a shaker kitchen, but with a much finer frame detail than a traditional painted door.
The door is 22mm thick, with a 27mm face frame and a wider 47mm reverse frame. This slim front profile gives the cabinetry a cleaner, lighter look, while still keeping the warmth and subtle texture of painted ash.
Aylesford is a strong choice if you like the character of a framed timber door, but want something neater and less traditional than a broad shaker. The narrow frame gives each cabinet front just enough definition without making the room feel busy.
The flat ash veneer centre panel keeps the design simple, while the painted ash finish allows a gentle grain to remain visible. This gives the kitchen more texture and depth than a smooth MDF painted door, but with a cleaner feel than more decorative in-frame or raised-panel designs.
Aylesford is available in a wide Paint to Order palette, with colours ranging from soft neutrals such as Porcelain, Ivory, Shell, Stone and Cashmere through to deeper shades such as Marine, Slate Blue, Graphite, Heritage Green and Deep Forest.
The slim frame makes Aylesford especially versatile. Lighter colours feel calm, bright and understated. Darker colours feel more architectural and tailored, particularly on islands, tall banks, pantry furniture and fitted living storage. Where a more individual shade is needed, a Colour Match Service can also be used to shape the kitchen around your wider interior scheme.
In a Mastercraft design, Aylesford can be used across the main kitchen, island, utility room, boot room furniture, pantry storage, dresser-style cabinetry and fitted living areas. The door gives the kitchen its refined micro shaker character, but the finished room comes from how the colour, handles, worktops, lighting, flooring and storage are brought together.
Your Aylesford kitchen would be designed around your space, your appliances, your routines and the way you want the room to feel every day – a bespoke Mastercraft kitchen with the detail of painted ash and the cleaner lines of a modern shaker.
