Zola Soft-Matte is a clean slab kitchen with a smooth, low-sheen finish and a simple modern profile. It gives you the pared-back look of a contemporary flat door, but with a softer surface than gloss and a calmer feel than a high-reflection finish.

The door works well in both handleless and handled designs, making it a flexible choice for modern kitchens, open-plan rooms, apartments and calm neutral schemes. In lighter colours, Zola Soft-Matte feels clean and understated. In darker shades, it takes on a more architectural look, especially when paired with stone worktops, warm timber and carefully chosen lighting.

A smooth slab door with a softer matt surface

The Zola Soft-Matte door is a flat slab design made from painted MDF. There are no rails, no centre panel and no visible grain, so the colour sits cleanly across the full face of the door.

Unlike gloss, the soft-matte finish does not throw strong reflections around the room. This gives the cabinetry a quieter, more settled appearance, while still keeping the clean lines and simple geometry of a modern slab kitchen.

Designed with or without handles

Zola Soft-Matte can be designed as a true handleless kitchen with a rail system, or paired with handles if you prefer a more defined look. This gives you more freedom over the final style of the room.

A rail system keeps the cabinet fronts calm and uninterrupted, while slim handles, T-bars or recessed pulls can add contrast and detail. In a Mastercraft design, the handle choice, rail colour, cabinet proportions and worktop detail are all planned together.
