About Ferro

A metallic slab door with a strong architectural finish

Ferro is a modern slab kitchen door with a metallic painted finish, designed for rooms where you want the cabinetry to feel bold, textural and more architectural than a standard painted kitchen.

The door is 18mm thick, made from MDF Plus and finished with a metallic paint surface. Its flat slab shape keeps the design clean, while the metallic finish brings movement, depth and a more industrial character to the cabinetry.

A modern door with material presence

Unlike a plain matt or gloss slab, Ferro is chosen for its surface character. Finishes such as Iron, Rusted Iron, Copper, Brass, Burnished Brass and Oxidised Copper bring a more crafted, metal-led look into the kitchen.

The face and edges are finished to match, while the reverse is colour matched in a standard painted finish. This keeps the door coordinated while allowing the metallic face to remain the main visual feature.

Designed for feature areas and full schemes

Ferro can be used across a full kitchen, but it is especially effective as a feature material. It works beautifully on islands, tall banks, bar areas, open shelving surrounds and contrast sections where you want texture, warmth or a more dramatic focal point.

In the right setting, Ferro can be paired with smooth painted cabinetry, timber slab doors, stone worktops, concrete-style floors, black-framed glazing and warm lighting. The metallic finish helps the kitchen feel layered and individual, rather than flat or purely functional.

Designed as a complete Mastercraft kitchen

In a Mastercraft design, Ferro would be planned carefully around your room, your light and the other materials in the space. The metallic finish has real presence, so the balance with worktops, splashbacks, flooring, lighting and surrounding cabinetry matters.

Your Ferro kitchen would be designed as one complete Mastercraft scheme, with the slab doors, metallic finish, storage, appliances and wider room details brought together around the way you want the space to feel and work every day.
