About Newcombe

A narrow shaker with a cleaner modern profile

Newcombe is a 5-piece narrow-frame shaker kitchen with a clean, simple profile and an authentic oak-effect finish. It gives you the softer look of painted timber, but with a lighter, less detailed frame than Pembridge.

The door is 22mm thick with a 68mm frame, giving the cabinetry neat shaker definition without an internal bead. This makes Newcombe a strong choice if you want a classic framed kitchen feel, but with a simpler and more modern edge.

Oak-effect texture with a consistent finish

Newcombe has an oak-effect foil finish across the face, edges and reverse of the door. This gives the surface a subtle timber grain effect, helping the cabinetry feel warmer and more textured than a smooth painted MDF door.

Because the finish is consistent across the door, the colour and grain carry through neatly when viewed from the front, side or opened. It gives you the character of a painted oak-style kitchen with a more practical, consistent surface.

Soft neutrals and deeper colour choices

In lighter colours such as Porcelain, Taupe Grey and Light Grey, Newcombe feels calm, bright and easy to live with. These softer finishes work well where you want a kitchen to feel open, classic and quietly detailed.

Indigo and Reed Green give the range more depth and personality. They work particularly well on islands, tall cabinetry, feature dressers, utility areas and open-plan fitted furniture, where the shaker frame can give the colour more structure.

Designed as part of your whole room

In a Mastercraft design, Newcombe can be used across the main kitchen, islands, larders, utility rooms, home office areas, media storage and fitted living furniture. The simple shaker profile gives the room structure, while the final design comes from how the colour, handles, worktops, lighting, storage and wider finishes are brought together.

Your Newcombe kitchen would be designed around your room, your appliances, your storage needs and the way you want the space to feel – creating a finished Mastercraft kitchen that feels personal, practical and carefully planned.
