TRUSTED BY HOMEOWNERS ACROSS THE REGION
Your Kitchen, Designed for Your Treorchy Home
Your kitchen needs to be designed properly for your home. Not adapted from a standard range, not adjusted as it goes, but planned from the room itself, so everything works as it should once it is in place. From the first conversation through to installation, the same team handles everything.

A bespoke kitchen design for a Treorchy home by Mastercraft Kitchens
Designed Around Your Home
If you are planning a new kitchen in your home in Treorchy, the starting point is always the room itself. Not a brochure, not a showroom layout. The room tells you what will work, and that is where the design has to begin.
Homes in Treorchy vary more than most people expect. A stone valley farmhouse behaves very differently to a newer family home on a hillside estate or a mid-terrace that has had an extension added. Each room has its own shape, its own constraints, and its own possibilities. Your kitchen is designed from scratch around yours, not adapted from something drawn up for a different kind of home entirely.
Alcoves, chimney breasts, sloping ceilings: these are resolved at the design stage, not on the day installation begins. By the time manufacturing starts, every dimension has already been accounted for.
The same team that designs your kitchen builds it. So when it arrives, it already fits how the room has been planned. There are no handoffs, no lost context, no one catching up. One team carries it through from the first drawing to the finished installation.

Crafted Cabinetry, Built to Last
Your kitchen is made in our own UK workshop, built specifically for your home. Every cabinet is rigid and factory assembled before it leaves, not flat-pack components pieced together on site. That level of assembly produces tighter tolerances and a more consistent result, and it means what arrives at your door is already a finished piece of cabinetry, not a kit.
The same standard runs through the whole kitchen. Drawer runners, hinges, interior fittings: all specified to the same level as the doors and worktops you see every day. The parts you rarely look at are built exactly as well as the ones you do. That is what determines how well your kitchen holds up over years of daily use.
Because your kitchen is made by us rather than sourced from a supplier’s catalogue, the quality and specification are not dictated by what happens to be available in a standard range. If your room needs an unusual width, a run beneath a sloping ceiling, or a cabinet that fits a very specific recess, it is designed and built exactly as required. Your space sets the brief.
One Team, from Design to Installation in Treorchy
From your first conversation through to the day your kitchen is handed over, the whole project sits with Mastercraft. Design, manufacturing, installation: one process, one team. You are not left coordinating trades or chasing progress. Everything moves forward properly because responsibility never changes hands.
The designers who plan your kitchen understand exactly how it will be built. The team who builds it knows what was designed and why. That continuity matters in practical terms, especially when your room has unusual features or specific constraints. No one arrives on site seeing your plans for the first time. Everything has already been understood by the people doing the work.
Treorchy homes come with their own starting points. A stone farmhouse in the valley brings different considerations to a newer build or a home with a recently added rear extension. Each project is treated on its own terms. The programme, the design decisions, the manufacturing: none of it is adjusted to fit a standard template drawn up for a different kind of house.
Your cabinetry is manufactured to the exact dimensions of your room, measured precisely before anything is made. When installation begins, everything arrives ready to fit. There are no on-site adjustments to compensate for things that were not fully resolved at the design stage. That preparation is what makes the installation itself straightforward.

We Work Across Treorchy and the Surrounding Area
From stone farmhouses tucked into the valley to newer homes on the hillside estates and terraces closer to the town centre, the projects we work on across this part of the Rhondda are rarely the same twice. Each one starts in the same place: your room, your layout, your home. That is as true for a small galley kitchen in a mid-terrace as it is for a larger open-plan space in a renovation. We also work regularly across South Wales, including nearby areas such as Pontypridd and Hirwaun.

Every Mastercraft kitchen is designed, built and installed by our own in-house team

Your Home in Treorchy. Your Kitchen.
Whether you are remodelling an existing kitchen or working on a new space from scratch, the process begins in the same place: your room. Your layout, your proportions, your constraints. The design is built around all of it. From the first design conversation through to the day the kitchen is handed over, the same team carries it. Everything has been understood from the start and carried through by the people who designed it, built it and installed it.

Why People in Treorchy Choose Mastercraft
A kitchen at this level is not just about how it looks. It is about whether it has been thought through properly from the start, and carried through without compromise. Every kitchen Mastercraft makes begins with the room itself, designed from scratch for your home rather than adapted from a catalogue. It is made in our own UK workshop, built by the same team that designed it, and installed by people who already know your plans inside out. There is no moment where the project changes hands, no gap between what was promised and what arrives. What you see at the design stage is what gets built, because the same people are responsible for it all the way through.
The same team handles design, manufacturing and installation, so nothing is lost between stages.
Every kitchen is designed from scratch around your room, not adjusted from a standard configuration.
Your cabinetry is built in our own UK workshop to the exact specification of your home.
Every component is specified for long-term use, not just the parts you see on the surface.
The design always starts with your room, your dimensions, and how your space actually works.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the whole process take, from first conversation to a finished kitchen?
Most kitchens take around three to five months from the initial design consultation through to completed installation. Larger or more involved projects, particularly those forming part of a wider renovation, can take a little longer. Your designer will give you a clear timeline once the scope of your project is understood.
What happens at the first consultation?
We come to your home in Treorchy. We look at the room properly, take note of the dimensions, the light, how you move around the space, and what is and is not working at the moment. It is a conversation more than anything else. Nothing is measured formally at this stage. That comes once you decide you want to move forward.
What does a bespoke kitchen typically cost?
The honest answer is that it depends on several things: the size of your room, the materials you choose, the appliances you want to include, and the level of internal storage detail. Bespoke kitchens vary significantly because every one is different. As a general guide, most Mastercraft kitchens sit in the range that reflects a serious, long-term investment in your home rather than a quick refresh. The best way to get a realistic picture is to have a conversation about your specific project. That gives you something meaningful to work with rather than a number that has no connection to your room.
Can you work with unusual room shapes or awkward layouts?
Yes, and that is often where bespoke design makes the most difference. Alcoves, chimney breasts, low ceilings on one side, rooms that are not square: all of these are resolved at the design stage, not worked around on installation day. If your room has quirks, the design accounts for them from the start rather than trying to fit a standard layout around them afterwards.
Do you work on larger renovation projects or extensions?
Yes, and having design and manufacturing under one roof is particularly useful when a kitchen is part of a wider building project. If you are extending or reconfiguring your home, the kitchen design can develop alongside the building work rather than being fitted in at the end. Because we make everything ourselves, dimensions can be confirmed once the structure is in place and the cabinetry built precisely to match. There is no gap between what the builder has constructed and what the kitchen manufacturer can supply.
What kitchen styles are available?
Because every kitchen is designed from scratch, you are not choosing from a fixed range of styles. That said, most kitchens fall into a few broad directions: shaker, in-frame, handleless, and painted or timber finishes in various combinations. Your designer will talk through what suits your home and how you live in it. The style follows the room and the brief, not the other way around.
How is the cabinetry made and where?
Your kitchen is made in our own UK workshop. Every cabinet is rigid and fully assembled before it leaves the workshop, not shipped as flat-pack components to be put together on site. That means what arrives at your home is finished cabinetry, built to the specific dimensions of your room, ready to be installed rather than constructed from scratch on the day.
Do I need to visit a showroom?
No. The process begins in your home, not a showroom. We come to you, look at your room, and design around it. You are welcome to visit our store if you want to see materials and finishes in person, but it is not a requirement. Most of the important decisions happen in your kitchen, not ours.
Who manages the project once it is underway?
Mastercraft handles it throughout. Design, manufacturing and installation all sit with the same team. You are not coordinating between separate companies or chasing progress from different contractors. One point of contact, one team, from the first conversation to the day the kitchen is handed over.
How do you handle the installation itself?
Because everything is manufactured to the exact dimensions of your room and fully resolved at the design stage, installation is a precise, planned process rather than an improvised one. The team installing your kitchen already knows the plans. Nothing is being worked out on site. Most installations take between one and two weeks depending on the size and complexity of the project.
We live in a valley home with thick stone walls and uneven floors. Can you still design a kitchen that fits properly?
Yes. Older stone properties in the Rhondda valley often have walls that are not straight, floors that are not level, and rooms that do not conform to simple measurements. That is accounted for at the survey and design stage, not discovered on installation day. The cabinetry is built to work with the room as it actually is, not as it might be in a plan drawn on graph paper.
What areas do you cover near Treorchy?
We work across Treorchy and the wider Rhondda Cynon Taf area, including Pontypridd, Hirwaun, Llanharan and across South Wales more broadly. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, just get in touch and we will let you know.
