Your Kitchen, Designed for Your Nantyglo Home

Your kitchen needs to be designed properly for your home. Not adapted from a standard range, not adjusted as it goes, but planned from the room itself, so everything works as it should once it is in place. One team handles the whole project, from the first conversation through to the day your kitchen is handed over.

Designed Around Your Home

If you are planning a new kitchen in your home in Nantyglo, the starting point is always the room itself. The layout, the proportions, the way light moves through the space. That is where the design begins, before anything else is decided.

Homes in Nantyglo vary more than most people expect. A Victorian terrace behaves very differently to a valley home or a newer family house. Each has its own proportions, its own quirks, its own constraints. Your kitchen is designed from scratch around your room, not adapted from something created for a different kind of home.

Alcoves, chimney breasts, sloping ceilings: these are resolved at the design stage, not on installation day. By the time manufacturing begins, every dimension has already been accounted for.

The designer and the maker are the same team. The person who plans your kitchen understands exactly how it will be built, so when it arrives, it already fits how the room has been planned from the start.

Crafted Cabinetry, Built to Last

Your kitchen is made specifically for your home in our own UK workshop. Every cabinet is rigid and fully assembled before it leaves, not flat-pack components put together on site. Factory assembly produces tighter tolerances and a more consistent finish than anything built in your home from a kit.

The same standard runs through the whole kitchen, not just the parts you see every day. Drawer runners, hinges, interior fittings: all specified to the same level as the doors and worktops. The parts you do not see are built to the same standard as the ones you do, and that is what determines how well your kitchen holds up over years of use.

Because your kitchen is made in our own workshop, it is not constrained by standard sizes or catalogue configurations. If your room needs an unusual width, a run that follows a sloping ceiling, or cabinetry built around a structural feature, it is designed and built exactly as required. Your space sets the brief, not the other way around.

One Team, from Design to Installation in Nantyglo

From your first conversation through to the day your kitchen is handed over, the whole project sits with Mastercraft. Design, manufacturing, installation: one team, one process. You are not left coordinating trades or chasing progress. Everything moves forward properly because one team holds it throughout.

The designers who plan your kitchen understand exactly how it will be built. The team who builds it knows what was designed and why. That continuity makes a real practical difference, especially when your room has unusual features or specific constraints. No one arrives on site seeing your plans for the first time.

Valley homes, Victorian terraces, modern family houses: each brings its own starting point. A run of cabinetry that works in one kind of home may not suit another at all. Your project is considered on its own terms, not adjusted to fit a programme drawn up for a different kind of house.

Your cabinetry is manufactured to the exact dimensions of your room, measured precisely before anything is made. When installation begins, everything arrives ready to fit. There are no on-site adjustments to compensate for things that were not fully resolved at the design stage. The thinking has already been done.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the whole process take, from first conversation to installation?

Most kitchens take around three to five months from the initial design consultation through to installation. The design and planning stage is typically the longest part, because that is where all the detail is worked out. Manufacturing usually takes six to eight weeks once the design is signed off. If your project is part of a wider renovation or extension, we can work around a building programme and plan the timeline accordingly.

What happens at the first consultation?

We come to your home in Nantyglo and spend time in the room with you. We look at the space properly, take note of any structural features, and talk through how you use your kitchen, what works at the moment and what does not. It is a practical conversation, not a presentation. Nothing is being sold at that stage. We are just trying to understand your home and your project properly before anything else happens.

What does a bespoke kitchen typically cost?

Bespoke kitchens vary a great deal depending on the size of your room, the materials you choose, the appliances included, and the level of storage detail in the design. A meaningful starting point for a fully bespoke fitted kitchen from Mastercraft is typically in the range of fifteen to thirty thousand pounds, with larger or more involved projects going beyond that. The best way to get an accurate sense of what your project would involve is to have a conversation about your specific room and what you need from it.

Can you work with rooms that have unusual shapes or awkward features?

Yes, and those rooms are often the most rewarding to design for. Alcoves, chimney breasts, sloping ceilings, load-bearing walls, rooms that are not square: all of these are resolved at the design stage. Because your kitchen is made to the exact dimensions of your room rather than adapted from standard sizes, unusual features become part of the design rather than obstacles to work around.

Do you work on larger renovation projects or extensions?

Yes, and having design and manufacturing under one roof is particularly valuable when a kitchen is part of a wider building project. If you are extending, reconfiguring a ground floor, or working with a builder on a renovation, we can work directly alongside that programme. Because we control the design and manufacturing ourselves, we can coordinate around structural work, adjust to changes on site, and ensure the kitchen is ready to install at exactly the right point in the build. It simplifies the project considerably.

What styles of kitchen can you design?

The range covers most directions, from shaker and in-frame through to handleless and more contemporary designs. The style is chosen around your home and your preferences, not around what happens to be available from a range. If your home is a Victorian terrace in Nantyglo, the design will reflect that. If it is a newer build, the approach will be different. The starting point is always the room and what suits it.

How is my kitchen made, and where?

Your kitchen is made in our own UK workshop. Every cabinet is rigid-built and fully assembled before it leaves, so what arrives at your home is a finished piece of cabinetry, not components to be put together on site. This produces a more precise fit and a more consistent finish. Because we manufacture ourselves, we are not constrained by standard sizes or off-the-shelf configurations. If your room needs something specific, we build it that way.

Who manages the installation?

The installation is handled by our own team. They already know your project in detail before they arrive, because they have been part of it from the start. Everything has been resolved at the design and manufacturing stage, so installation is a straightforward process of fitting a kitchen that was made precisely for your room. There is no figuring things out on site.

Do I need to have a builder or other tradespeople separately?

For most kitchen projects, you would need a qualified electrician and a plumber for the final connections, and we can advise you on what will be required for your specific project. If your kitchen is part of a broader building or renovation project, we are used to working alongside other trades and can coordinate accordingly. The kitchen design, manufacture and installation itself is handled entirely by us.

I am not sure what I want yet. Is it too early to get in touch?

Not at all. Many of the best projects start with someone who has a rough sense of what they need but has not worked out the details yet. The first conversation is about understanding your room and your situation, not about choosing finishes or making decisions. It often helps to talk things through early, before you have committed to a direction, because the design can then develop properly from your actual starting point.

Will the same person handle my project from start to finish?

The same team handles your project throughout. The designer who plans your kitchen understands how it will be built. The people who build it know what was designed and why. That continuity matters practically, particularly when your room has specific features or your project has particular requirements. You are not passed between departments or handed to a different company at any stage.

Do you cover Nantyglo and the wider Blaenau Gwent area?

Yes. We work regularly in Nantyglo and across Blaenau Gwent, including the surrounding towns. All consultations take place in your home, so wherever you are in the area, the process starts with us coming to you and looking at your room properly.
