Your Kitchen, Designed for Your Mold Home

If you are planning a new kitchen in Mold, we design it around your specific home, your room, your proportions, and the way you actually use the space.

Designed Around Your Home

Designing a kitchen well starts with the room itself. How the light comes in, how you move through the space, how it connects to the rest of your house. Those things shape the layout before any visual decisions are made. Getting the proportions right first means everything else follows from a solid foundation.

Mold has a good mix of property types. Period market town houses, family detached homes on established roads, and rural Flintshire properties each bring their own proportions and their own constraints. The architecture sets the starting point for the design. Your kitchen is drawn to work within that, not borrowed from a plan drawn for a completely different kind of house.

Alcoves, chimney breasts, sloping ceilings, walls that cannot be moved: these are worked through at the design stage, not discovered on installation day. By the time your kitchen goes into manufacturing, every dimension has been accounted for. Nothing is left to be improvised once the fitters arrive.

Your kitchen is designed individually, built in our own UK workshop, and installed by the same team throughout. One process, one point of responsibility. The person who designs it knows exactly how it will be made, because both things happen under the same roof.

Crafted Cabinetry, Built to Last

Your kitchen is made in our own UK workshop, built specifically for your home. Every cabinet is rigid and factory assembled before it leaves. This is not flat-pack furniture constructed on site from components. Factory assembly produces tighter tolerances and a more consistent finish than anything put together in your kitchen from a kit.

The same standard runs through the whole kitchen, not just the parts you see every day. Drawer runners, hinges, and interior fittings are all specified to the same level as the doors and worktops. The parts you do not see are built to the same standard as the ones you do. That is what determines how well your kitchen holds up over time.

Because we make your kitchen ourselves, we are not working from a catalogue of fixed sizes. If your room needs an unusual width, a run that follows a sloping ceiling, or a configuration that simply does not exist as a standard option, we design and build it to those exact requirements.

Your Kitchen Project in Mold, Handled from Start to Finish

From your first conversation through to the day your kitchen is handed over, the whole project sits with Mastercraft. Design, manufacturing, installation: one team, one process. You are not left coordinating separate trades or chasing progress updates. There are no handoffs between contractors, no gaps in responsibility. Everything moves forward properly because one team holds it throughout. You can read more about how that process works here.

The designers who plan your kitchen understand exactly how it will be built. The team who builds it knows what was designed and why. That continuity makes a real practical difference, especially when your room has unusual features or specific constraints. Nobody arrives on site seeing your drawings for the first time.

Mold homes come in different forms. A period town house, a rural Flintshire property, a family detached home: each has its own starting point, its own structural reality, its own set of proportions. Your project is treated on its own terms, not adjusted to fit a programme drawn up for a different kind of house entirely.

Your cabinetry is manufactured to the exact dimensions of your room, measured precisely before anything goes into production. When installation begins, everything arrives ready to fit. There are no on-site adjustments made to compensate for things that were not fully resolved at the design stage.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a bespoke kitchen from Mastercraft typically cost?

The honest answer is that bespoke kitchens vary considerably, and for good reason. Room size, the materials you choose, the number of cabinets, the level of storage detail, worktop materials, and the appliances you want all affect the final figure. Rather than quote a number that might not reflect your project, we would rather talk through your home and give you a realistic picture from there. What we can say is that a Mastercraft kitchen is a long-term investment in your home, designed and built to last, and priced accordingly. It is not the cheapest option, and it is not meant to be.

Do you cover Mold and the surrounding villages?

Yes. We work across Mold and throughout north Flintshire, including surrounding villages and rural properties. Distance is not a barrier within our coverage area, and we are used to visiting homes well outside town centres for both consultations and installations.

How long does the whole process take from first contact to finished kitchen?

It depends on the complexity of your project and how quickly decisions are made, but as a general guide you should allow several months from your initial consultation to installation. Design and planning take time done properly, and your kitchen needs to be manufactured before it can be installed. We will give you a realistic timeline at the outset so you can plan around it.

What happens at the first design consultation?

We come to your home, look at the room properly, and have a practical conversation about what you want your kitchen to do. We will ask about how you use the space, what is and is not working at the moment, and what you have in mind for the new design. There is no pressure and no obligation. It is the beginning of a conversation, not a sales visit.

Can you work with awkward rooms or unusual layouts?

That is exactly what bespoke design is for. Sloping ceilings, chimney breasts, alcoves, rooms that are not square, structural walls that cannot move: these are all things we work through at the design stage. We design and build everything to the actual dimensions of your room, so unusual features are resolved in the drawings, not improvised during installation.

What kitchen styles do you offer?

Because every kitchen is designed from scratch, you are not choosing from a fixed collection. That said, we work across a wide range of styles, from classic shaker designs that suit Mold's period properties well, through to clean handleless kitchens for more contemporary spaces. The style comes from your home and your preferences, not from what happens to be on a showroom floor. You can explore our approach to kitchen styles and finishes for more detail.

How is the kitchen actually manufactured?

Your kitchen is made in our own UK workshop. Every cabinet is rigid and factory assembled before it leaves, not flat-pack components that are put together on site. We manufacture to the exact dimensions of your room, so by the time the installation team arrives, everything is built and ready to fit. That process produces a more consistent result and a better finish than site assembly from components.

Who carries out the installation?

Our own installation team does. This is not subcontracted out to a third party. The people fitting your kitchen understand how it was designed and how it was made. That matters practically, particularly if your room has specific features that need careful handling on the day.

Do you work on larger renovation projects or extensions?

Yes, and having design and manufacturing under one roof is particularly useful in those situations. When your kitchen is part of a wider building project, such as a rear extension, a ground floor remodel, or a significant structural change, coordinating the kitchen design with the build programme matters. Because we handle everything from design through to installation ourselves, we can work alongside your architect or builder with a single point of contact for the kitchen. Nothing gets lost between separate suppliers, and the kitchen design can evolve properly as the wider project develops.

Can I see examples of your work before committing?

Yes. We are happy to share previous projects and talk through them with you, including work we have done in similar property types to yours. We also have a showroom where you can look at materials, finishes, and cabinet construction in person. The best starting point is a conversation, after which we can point you towards the most relevant examples for your home.

What if I am not sure what style or layout I want yet?

That is completely normal at the start of the process. You do not need to arrive at a consultation with everything decided. Part of our job is to help you work through the options in a way that makes sense for your room and your home. We ask the right questions, show you what is possible, and help you build a clear picture over time. You do not need to know the answers before we begin.

Is Mastercraft the right choice if I want something quite specific or unusual?

Almost certainly yes. Because we design and build everything ourselves, we are not constrained by catalogue sizes or standard configurations. If you have something specific in mind, an unusual layout, a particular material, a storage solution you have not been able to find elsewhere, those are the kinds of projects we are well suited to. The more specific your requirements, the more a genuinely bespoke process tends to be worth it.
