Your Kitchen, Designed for Your Milton Keynes Home
Whether you are in a modern family home, an executive new build, or a contemporary development, your kitchen is designed around your specific space, not borrowed from a catalogue.

Designed Around Your Home
Designing a kitchen well begins with the room. The light, the proportions, how you move through the space, how it connects to the rest of the house. Layout comes first. Where appliances sit, how worktop runs, where storage makes sense for the way you actually use the kitchen. Visual decisions follow once the practical ones are settled.
Milton Keynes brings its own range of starting points. Modern family homes, executive new builds, contemporary developments across the city’s many neighbourhoods. Each has its own proportions and its own character. Your kitchen is designed to sit within your home’s architecture, shaped by the room as it actually is, not drawn up for a generic space and then adjusted to fit.
Where the room has constraints, those are worked through at the design stage. Walls that cannot move, structural posts, ceiling heights that change, runs that need to work around fixed features. By the time manufacturing begins, every dimension has been accounted for properly. Nothing is left to be resolved on installation day.
Your kitchen is designed for your home, built in our own UK workshop, and installed by the same team throughout. One process, one point of responsibility. The designer who plans it understands exactly how it will be made, because design and manufacturing sit in the same hands.

Crafted Cabinetry, Built to Last
Your kitchen is made in our own UK workshop, built specifically for your home. Every cabinet arrives on site rigid and fully assembled, not as flat-pack components to be put together in your kitchen. Factory assembly produces tighter tolerances and a more consistent result. When your cabinetry is built under controlled conditions to exact dimensions, the difference shows in how it fits and how it holds up over time. You can read more about how we approach quality and manufacturing on our website.
The same standard runs through the whole kitchen, not just the surfaces you see every day. Drawer runners, hinges, internal fittings, the structure of every carcass: all specified and finished to the same level as the doors and worktops. The parts you do not see are built to the same standard as the ones you do. That is what determines how your kitchen performs over ten, fifteen, twenty years.
Because we make your kitchen ourselves, we are not working from a catalogue of fixed sizes. If your room needs a run at an unusual width, cabinetry that works beneath a sloping soffit, or something specific to how your space is laid out, we design and build it exactly as required. The room sets the brief, not the other way round.
Your Milton Keynes Kitchen Project, Handled from Start to Finish
From your first conversation through to the day your kitchen is handed over, the whole project sits with Mastercraft. Design, manufacturing and installation move through one team and one process. You are not left coordinating separate trades or chasing progress between contractors. There are no handoffs, no gaps in responsibility. Everything moves forward properly because the same team holds it throughout.
The designers who plan your kitchen understand exactly how it will be built. The team who builds it knows what was designed and why. That continuity matters in practice, particularly when your room has specific features or constraints. Nobody arrives on site seeing your plans for the first time and trying to work out how to make them fit.
Milton Keynes homes cover a wide range of starting points. A modern family home in Broughton, an executive new build in Emerson Valley, a contemporary property in Shenley Brook End. Each has its own layout, its own proportions, its own way of living. Your project is worked through on its own terms, not run through a standard programme designed for a different kind of house.
Your cabinetry is made to the exact dimensions of your room, measured precisely before anything goes into production. When the installation team arrives, everything is ready to go in. There are no on-site adjustments to compensate for things that were not fully resolved at the design stage. The room was accounted for properly long before installation day.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a bespoke kitchen project take from start to finish?
It varies depending on the complexity of your kitchen and how much design work is involved, but as a general guide you should allow somewhere between twelve and twenty weeks from your initial consultation to installation. This covers the design process, any revisions, manufacturing and fitting. We will give you a clear timeline once we have a proper picture of your project.
What happens at the first design consultation?
We come to your home in Milton Keynes and look at the space properly. We talk through how you use your kitchen, what is and is not working at the moment, and what you want from the new one. We take accurate measurements and get a real sense of the room. From there, we develop an initial design. There is no obligation at this stage.
What does a bespoke kitchen typically cost?
It depends on the size of the room, the materials you choose, the appliances you want to include, and the level of storage detail that goes into the design. A straightforward kitchen in a smaller room will cost less than a large, fully specified kitchen with extensive cabinetry and premium worktops. Most Mastercraft kitchens represent a significant investment, and that is reflected in how they are designed, made and expected to perform. The best way to get an accurate picture is to have a conversation about your specific project. We will be straightforward with you about costs from the outset.
Can you work with kitchens that have unusual layouts or awkward features?
Yes, and that is often where a fully bespoke approach makes the biggest difference. If your room has walls that cannot move, structural elements to work around, a ceiling that changes height, or proportions that do not suit standard cabinet sizes, all of that is resolved at the design stage. Because we make your kitchen ourselves, we are not limited by catalogue sizes or fixed configurations.
Do you work on larger renovation projects or extensions?
Yes. If your kitchen is part of a wider building project, an extension, a reconfiguration of your ground floor, or a full renovation, having design and manufacturing under one roof is particularly useful. We can work closely with your architect or builder, and because we control the design and manufacturing ourselves, we can adapt to changes in the build programme without losing continuity. You are not trying to coordinate a kitchen supplier separately from everything else that is happening on site.
What kitchen styles do you design?
We work across a wide range of styles. Shaker, handleless, in-frame, painted, and more contemporary directions. Because every kitchen is designed from scratch, the style is chosen to suit your home and your taste, not limited to what happens to be on the showroom floor. If you want to explore styles before your consultation, our kitchen design pages give a good sense of the directions we work in.
Where is my kitchen made?
In our own UK workshop. Every cabinet is built there, fully assembled, before it comes to your home. We do not use flat-pack components that are put together on site. Building under controlled workshop conditions means tighter tolerances, a better finish, and a more consistent result throughout.
Who installs the kitchen?
Our own installation team. The same people who understand how your kitchen was designed and built are the ones who fit it. You are not dealing with a separate contractor who has not been involved in the project up to that point. That continuity makes a real difference, particularly if anything needs to be resolved during the installation.
How accurate are the measurements, and what if something does not fit?
We measure your room precisely before anything goes into production. Every dimension is accounted for at the design stage, so by the time your kitchen arrives, it is made to fit your space exactly. We do not leave things to be sorted out during installation. That said, if something unexpected comes up on the day, our team handles it. You have one point of contact throughout.
Do you supply appliances as well?
Yes. We can supply and specify appliances as part of your kitchen project. Working this way means appliances are integrated into the design properly from the start, rather than added afterwards. We will talk through what you need during the design process and make sure everything is specified and co-ordinated correctly.
What worktop materials do you offer?
We work with a range of worktop materials including quartz, granite, solid wood, dekton and others. The right choice depends on how you use your kitchen, the look you want, and how the worktop sits alongside the rest of the design. We will talk through the options with you and help you choose something that works practically as well as visually.
Is Milton Keynes within your working area?
Yes. We work across Milton Keynes and the surrounding area, including nearby towns such as Northampton, Bedford and Luton, and more broadly across Buckinghamshire. If you are not sure whether your location is covered, just get in touch and we will confirm it straight away.
