Designed Around Your Home

Designing a kitchen well starts with understanding the room. How light moves through it, how it connects to the rest of the house, how you actually use the space day to day. Layout and proportions come first. Once those are right, decisions about materials, finishes and storage follow naturally from them.

Evesham has a good range of period market town houses, rural family homes and properties out into the Vale. Each brings its own proportions and its own starting point. The architecture sets the context, and your kitchen is designed to sit within it properly, not drawn up for a different kind of house and adjusted to fit yours.

Alcoves, chimney breasts, sloping ceilings, walls that cannot move: these things are worked through at the design stage. Every dimension is accounted for before manufacturing begins. Nothing is left to be resolved on installation day, and nothing is worked around once the team arrives.

Your kitchen is designed individually, built in our own UK workshop, and installed by the same team throughout. One process, one point of responsibility. The person who designs it understands exactly how it will be made and what it needs to do in your home.

Crafted Cabinetry, Built to Last

Your kitchen is made in our own UK workshop, built specifically for your room. Every cabinet is rigid and factory assembled before it leaves. That is not a small detail. Factory assembly produces tighter tolerances and a more consistent finish than flat-pack components put together on site. What arrives at your home is already a finished piece of cabinetry, not a kit waiting to be made into one. You can read more about how we approach quality and manufacturing on that page.

The same standard runs through the whole kitchen, not just the doors and worktops. Drawer runners, hinges, interior fittings: all specified and finished to the same level as the visible surfaces. The parts you open every day and the parts you rarely see are built to the same standard. That consistency is what determines how well your kitchen holds up over time.

Because we make your kitchen ourselves, we are not limited to standard sizes or catalogue configurations. If your room needs an unusual width, a run that follows a sloping ceiling, or something specific to your layout, we design and build it exactly as required. Your room sets the dimensions, not a manufacturer’s size chart.

Your Evesham Kitchen Project, Handled from Start to Finish

From your first conversation through to the day your kitchen is handed over, the whole project sits with Mastercraft. Design, manufacturing, installation: one team, one process. You are not left coordinating trades or chasing progress between separate contractors. Everything moves forward properly because one team holds responsibility for it from the very beginning. How we work is straightforward, and we will walk you through it at your consultation.

The designers who plan your kitchen understand exactly how it will be built. The team who builds it knows what was designed and why. That continuity makes a real practical difference, especially when your room has unusual features or specific constraints. Nobody arrives on site seeing your plans for the first time and working out how to make them fit.

Period market town houses, rural family homes, properties spread across the Vale of Evesham: each brings its own starting point. A Victorian terrace on the high street has different constraints to a farmhouse out towards Pershore. Your project is treated on its own terms, not adjusted to fit a standard programme that was written for a different kind of house entirely.

Your cabinetry is manufactured to the exact dimensions of your room, measured precisely before anything is made. When installation begins, everything arrives ready to fit. There are no on-site adjustments to compensate for things that were not fully thought through at the design stage.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the process start if I get in touch?

It starts with a conversation, usually by phone or email, to get a sense of your project and what you are hoping to achieve. From there, we arrange a home visit where we can look at your space properly, talk through your ideas, and begin to understand what the design needs to do. There is no cost for that initial consultation and no obligation to proceed.

What does a bespoke kitchen typically cost?

It varies considerably, and that is worth being honest about. The size of your room, the materials you choose, the appliances you want to include, and the level of storage detail all affect the final figure. A straightforward kitchen in a modest space will sit at a different level to a large open-plan kitchen with extensive cabinetry and high-specification worktops and appliances. Rather than quote a number that may not reflect your project, we would rather discuss your specific home and give you a realistic picture from there. What we can say is that a Mastercraft kitchen is a long-term investment, designed and built to last, not something you will be replacing in a decade.

Do you work on larger renovation projects or extensions?

Yes, and it is worth noting that having design and manufacturing under one roof is particularly useful when a kitchen is part of a wider building project. If your room is changing shape, if a wall is coming out, or if you are extending, we can work alongside your builder from an early stage. Because we control the design and the making ourselves, we can adapt as the project develops without the delays that come from coordinating separate suppliers. We have worked on projects across the Midlands, including in Evesham and the surrounding area, where the kitchen has been central to a broader renovation.

Can you design around unusual features in my kitchen?

Yes, and it is one of the things bespoke design is specifically for. Chimney breasts, alcoves, sloping ceilings, awkward corners, structural walls that cannot move: all of these are resolved at the design stage. Because we manufacture your kitchen ourselves, we are not limited to standard sizes. We build to the exact dimensions of your room, whatever those turn out to be.

How long does the whole project take from first conversation to installation?

Timescales vary depending on the complexity of your kitchen and our current schedule, but as a general guide you should expect several months from your initial consultation to the completion of installation. The design stage takes time to get right, and manufacturing follows once everything is confirmed. We will give you a clear timeline once we understand your project properly, and we keep you informed as things progress.

What styles of kitchen do you design and make?

We work across a wide range of styles, from traditional shaker kitchens that suit period properties well, through to in-frame kitchens and contemporary handleless designs. The style that works best for your home is something we work out with you during the design process, starting from your property and your own preferences rather than from a fixed menu of options.

Who carries out the installation?

Our own installation team carries out the work. They are not subcontractors brought in at the end of the project. Because they work alongside the designers and the manufacturing team, they understand exactly what has been designed and why. That means fewer problems on site and a cleaner, more precise installation.

Do you handle appliances as well as cabinetry?

Yes. Appliances are integrated into the design from the beginning, not added in at the end. We specify and source appliances as part of the overall project so that everything works together properly, both in terms of how the kitchen looks and how it functions day to day.

I live in a period property in Evesham. Is bespoke the right approach for that kind of home?

It usually is, yes. Period properties often have proportions and features that make standard kitchens a poor fit. Ceiling heights, window positions, the depth of alcoves, the way rooms connect to each other: these things vary significantly from house to house, and a kitchen designed for one will not necessarily work in another. Starting from scratch means the design is built around what your house actually is, not what a catalogue assumes it to be.

What worktop options are available?

We work with a range of worktop materials including stone, quartz, hardwood and other finishes, depending on what suits your kitchen design and how you use the space. Worktop choice is part of the design conversation, and we will talk through the options that make sense for your room. You can also take a look at our worktops page for an overview of what we offer.

Do you work in areas near Evesham as well?

Yes. We work across the wider area, including Worcester, Pershore and Stratford-upon-Avon, as well as more broadly across our Midlands coverage area. If you are unsure whether we cover your location, just get in touch and we will confirm it straight away.

What happens if something needs attention after the kitchen is installed?

Because we design, make and install your kitchen ourselves, there is one clear point of contact if anything needs attention after handover. You are not left trying to work out whether an issue sits with a designer, a manufacturer or an installer. We stand behind the work we do, and any snags are dealt with directly by us.
