This is a Fibo Plain Panel splashback in Shabby Chic, sold as a pack of two panels measuring 600mm wide by 900mm high. It sits behind your hob or sink run, protecting the wall from splashes and steam while giving that section of the kitchen a distinct rustic finish. Fibo panels are made in Norway and specified for Mastercraft kitchen designs where a hardwearing, easy to clean wall surface is wanted without the cost or waiting time of tiling.

Key

Benefits

• The surface is 100% watertight, so there's no grout line for water to sit in or grime to build up around, which makes daily wiping down straightforward.
• Fitted using the Aqualock installation system, the panels join together with a sealed edge, so the join between the two doesn't become a weak point over time.
• The Shabby Chic finish has a rustic look to it, so it brings texture and character to a splashback area without the maintenance that comes with real wood or natural stone near a hob.
• Panels are fire retardant, which covers general kitchen use, though if you're fitting a gas hob we'd steer you towards a glass or stainless steel splashback instead for that specific area.
• Backed by a 25 year manufacturer's guarantee, so it's built to stay put and keep its finish well beyond the usual kitchen refresh cycle.

A base profile is required for installation and isn't included with the panel itself, so this needs to be specified alongside the splashback. Additional profiles and accessories are available separately in Aluminium or Black to finish edges and corners neatly, depending on your layout.
