The Kessebohmer YouK Clothes Rail Extender is a modular accessory for the YouK shelving system, designed to add a hanging rail section to an existing open shelving run. It fits neatly into utility rooms, boot rooms or open-plan living spaces where a kitchen design flows into a dressing or storage area, giving you a place to hang coats, aprons or everyday clothing without needing a separate piece of furniture.
Key
Benefits
- Extends the YouK modular shelving system by 900mm, so you can add hanging space exactly where you need it within an open or broken-plan layout.
- Works alongside the rest of the YouK range, meaning your shelving and hanging storage share the same look rather than feeling like separate additions.
- Finished in black, which sits well against open shelving and keeps the hardware visually quiet rather than drawing attention to itself.
- Useful in utility rooms or boot rooms next to a kitchen, where you want hanging space for coats or workwear close to hand rather than tucked away upstairs.
This is an extension piece rather than a standalone unit, so it relies on the YouK shelving system already being part of your design. It suits kitchens with open or broken-plan storage where a mix of shelving and hanging space makes daily use easier, but it won't work as a fix on its own if you're after a fully enclosed wardrobe solution.
