Your Kitchen, Designed for Your Falmouth Home
Your kitchen needs to be designed properly for your home. Not adapted from a standard range, not adjusted as it goes, but planned from the room itself, so everything works as it should once it is in place. The same team handles design, manufacturing and installation, so nothing gets lost between stages.

A bespoke kitchen design for a Falmouth home by Mastercraft Kitchens
Designed Around Your Home
If you are planning a new kitchen in your home in Falmouth, the starting point is always the room itself. The proportions, the light, the way you move through the space. That is where the design begins, before anything else is decided.
Homes in Falmouth vary more than most people expect. A Georgian townhouse behaves very differently to a converted barn, a thatched cottage or a contemporary architect-designed home near the waterfront. Your kitchen is designed from scratch around your room, not adapted from something created for a different kind of house entirely.
Alcoves, chimney breasts, sloping ceilings: these are resolved at the design stage. By the time manufacturing begins, every dimension has already been accounted for. Nothing is left to be worked out later.
The person who designs your kitchen understands exactly how it will be made. So when it arrives, it already fits how the room has been planned. One team carries it from first conversation to finished installation.

Crafted Cabinetry, Built to Last
Your kitchen is made specifically for your home in our own UK workshop. Every cabinet is rigid and factory assembled before it leaves, not flat-pack components put together on site. That process produces tighter tolerances and a more consistent finish than anything assembled in your home from a kit, and you can feel the difference when it is in place.
The same standard runs through the whole kitchen, not just the parts you see every day. Drawer runners, hinges, interior fittings: all specified to the same level as the doors and worktops. The parts you do not see are built to the same standard as the ones you do. That is what determines how well your kitchen holds up over years of daily use.
Because your kitchen is made in our own workshop, it is not limited to standard sizes or catalogue configurations. If your room needs an unusual cabinet width, a run of units beneath a sloping ceiling, or something specific to the way your space is shaped, it is designed and built exactly as required. Your room sets the brief, and the cabinetry follows from that.
One Team, from Design to Installation in Falmouth
From your first conversation through to the day your kitchen is handed over, the whole project sits with Mastercraft. Design, manufacturing, installation: one team, one process. You are not left coordinating trades or chasing progress. Everything moves forward properly because the same people hold it from start to finish.
The designers who plan your kitchen understand exactly how it will be built. The team who builds it knows what was designed and why. That continuity makes a real practical difference, especially when your room has unusual features or specific constraints. No one arrives on site seeing your plans for the first time.
A Falmouth home brings its own particular starting point. A Georgian townhouse with deep sash windows and original cornicing asks different questions to a converted barn with exposed timbers, or a contemporary home designed around sea views. Each project is treated on its own terms, designed for the room in front of us, not adjusted to fit a programme drawn up for a different kind of house.
Your cabinetry is manufactured to the exact dimensions of your room, measured precisely before anything is made. When installation begins, everything arrives ready to fit. There are no on-site adjustments to compensate for things that were not fully resolved at the design stage. That work has already been done.

We Work Across Falmouth and the Surrounding Area
From period townhouses near the harbour to newer homes on the outskirts of town, every project begins in the same place: your room, your layout, your home. Across our South West coverage area, the starting point is always the space itself, wherever that happens to be.

Every Mastercraft kitchen is designed, built and installed by our own in-house team

Your Home in Falmouth. Your Kitchen.
Whether you are remodelling an existing kitchen or starting completely from scratch, the process is the same: the design begins with your room and is built around it. Your kitchen is then made in our own workshop and installed by the same team who planned it. Everything has been understood from the start and carried through by the same people, so by the time installation day arrives, there are no surprises on either side.

Why People in Falmouth Choose Mastercraft
A kitchen at this level is not just about how it looks. It is about whether it has been thought through properly from the start, and carried through without compromise. Every kitchen is designed from scratch for the specific home, not pulled from a standard range and adjusted to fit. It is made in our own UK workshop, by the same team who designed it, and installed without any of the gaps in responsibility that come with using separate contractors. The design starts with your room. The cabinetry is built for your room. And the same people who made those decisions are the ones who put it in place. That is how it holds up, and how it continues to work well for years rather than just looking right on the day it goes in.
The same team designs, builds and installs your kitchen, so nothing is handed off or lost between stages.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the whole process take, from first conversation to finished kitchen?
Most kitchens take around three to five months from the initial design conversation through to installation. A more involved project, one with a larger room, more complex storage requirements or significant structural considerations, can run a little longer. We will give you a clear picture of the likely timeline once we understand your project properly.
What happens at the first consultation?
We come to your home. That is where it starts. We look at the room, talk through how you use it, what is working now and what is not, and begin to get a sense of what the kitchen needs to do. There is no presentation, no pressure, just a straightforward conversation in the space itself.
Can you work with unusual rooms or awkward features?
Yes, and in many ways those are the projects where bespoke design makes the most difference. If your room has a chimney breast, sloping ceilings, an alcove, or proportions that make standard cabinetry a poor fit, those things are resolved at the design stage. By the time manufacturing begins, every dimension has been accounted for.
What kitchen styles are available?
Because every kitchen is designed from scratch, there is no fixed range to choose from. The style comes from understanding your home and what suits it. That said, some of the most common directions we work in include shaker kitchens, in-frame kitchens and handleless designs. If you have a clear sense of what you are drawn to, or no idea yet, both are equally good starting points.
What does a bespoke kitchen typically cost?
It varies significantly depending on the size of the room, the materials chosen, the appliances included and the level of storage detail involved. As a general guide, most bespoke kitchen projects start from around fifteen thousand pounds and can run considerably higher for larger or more complex installations. The honest answer is that the cost reflects the brief, and the brief comes from your room. Once we understand what your project involves, we can give you a clear and accurate picture.
How is the kitchen actually made?
Your cabinetry is made in our own UK workshop, built specifically for your home. Every cabinet is rigid and factory assembled before it leaves, not flat-pack components put together on site. That matters because factory assembly produces a more precise, more consistent result, and you can feel the difference once the kitchen is in place.
Do you work on larger renovation projects or extensions?
Yes. If your kitchen is part of a wider building project, having design and manufacturing under one roof is particularly useful. It means the kitchen can be coordinated properly with the building work rather than treated as a separate phase that gets figured out later. We are used to working alongside architects, builders and project managers, and we know how to fit into a wider programme without creating delays or complications.
Who handles the installation?
Our own installation team. They are not subcontractors brought in at the end of the process. They know the design, they understand how the kitchen has been built, and they arrive on site with everything already resolved. Nothing is being worked out as they go.
Do I need to have a clear idea of what I want before getting in touch?
Not at all. Some people come to us with a very clear picture in mind. Others know only that the kitchen they have is not working and they want it to be better. Either is a perfectly good place to start. The design conversation is where the brief takes shape, and that conversation begins in your home.
Can you handle the kitchen as part of a larger project involving other tradespeople?
Yes. We are experienced working alongside other trades and can coordinate our programme to fit around what else is happening in your home. The key advantage is that your kitchen is designed and manufactured to exact dimensions well in advance, so there is no ambiguity when it comes to fitting out the space.
What areas do you cover around Falmouth?
We work across Falmouth and the wider area, including Redruth, Camborne, Penzance and the surrounding towns and villages throughout Cornwall. If you are not sure whether your address falls within our area, just get in touch and we will confirm.
How do I get the process started?
Arrange a design consultation and we will come to your home. We look at the room, talk through what you need the kitchen to do, and take it from there. That first conversation is where everything begins.
