Your Kitchen, Designed for Your Beeston Home

Whether you live in a Victorian semi, an inter-war family house or a modern apartment, your kitchen is designed specifically for your space, not adapted from something drawn up for a different home entirely.

Designed Around Your Home

Designing a kitchen well starts with the room itself. The way light moves through it, how you enter and leave, how it connects to the spaces around it. Layout comes before anything else. Once the proportions are right and the way the room works is properly understood, the visual decisions follow naturally from that foundation.

Beeston has a real mix of housing. Victorian semis with their tall ceilings and chimney breasts sit alongside inter-war family homes with wider, lower rooms, and modern apartments where space is more compact and every decision carries more weight. Each of those starting points is different, and your kitchen is designed to sit within your architecture, not placed over it.

Alcoves, chimney breasts, walls that cannot move, ceilings that slope: these things are resolved at the design stage. Every dimension is worked out before manufacturing begins. When the installation team arrives, there are no surprises waiting, nothing that needs adjusting because something was not properly accounted for on the drawing.

Your kitchen is designed individually, built in our own UK workshop, and installed by the same team throughout. One process, one point of responsibility. The person who designs it understands precisely how it will be made and what the finished result needs to look like in your room.

Crafted Cabinetry, Built to Last

Your kitchen is made in our own UK workshop, built specifically for your home. Every cabinet arrives rigid and fully assembled, not as flat-pack components to be put together on site. Factory assembly produces tighter tolerances and a more consistent result. It is the difference between something built under controlled conditions and something constructed in a busy room with a deadline running.

The same standard applies throughout, not just to the doors and surfaces you see every day. Drawer runners, hinges, internal fittings and storage mechanisms are all specified and finished to the same level as everything else. The parts you rarely look at are built exactly as well as the ones you do, because that is what determines how well your kitchen holds up over years of daily use.

Because we make your kitchen ourselves, standard sizes and catalogue configurations do not apply. If your room needs a run at an unusual width, cabinetry fitted beneath a sloping ceiling, or something specific to a corner or recess that no off-the-shelf product would reach, we design and build it to those exact dimensions. You can explore the full range of kitchens we make to get a sense of what is possible.

Your Beeston Kitchen Project, Handled from Start to Finish

From your first conversation through to the day your kitchen is handed over, the whole project sits with Mastercraft. Design, manufacturing and installation are handled by one team, working through one process. You are not left coordinating separate trades or chasing progress across different contractors. There are no gaps in responsibility, and nothing falls between two parties who each assumed the other was handling it.

The designers who plan your kitchen understand exactly how it will be built. The team who builds it knows what was designed and why. That continuity matters in practice, particularly when your room has unusual features or constraints that need careful thought. Nobody arrives on site seeing your plans for the first time and working out how to interpret them. To understand how we work from first contact through to installation, the process is straightforward.

Beeston homes come in quite different forms. A Victorian semi brings one set of proportions and challenges. An inter-war family home brings another. A modern apartment is different again. Your project is treated on its own terms, designed around your specific room rather than adjusted to fit a standard programme that was drawn up with a different kind of house in mind.

Your cabinetry is manufactured to the precise dimensions of your room, measured carefully before anything is made. When installation begins, everything arrives ready to fit. There are no on-site adjustments needed to compensate for measurements that were not properly taken, and no last-minute improvisation to make things work in a space that was not fully understood at the design stage.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a bespoke kitchen project typically take from start to finish?

It varies depending on the complexity of your design and the current programme, but most projects run from initial consultation through to completed installation in around twelve to sixteen weeks. We will give you a clear timeline early in the process so you know what to expect and can plan around it.

What happens at the first design consultation?

We come to your home, look at the space and talk through how you use it and what you want from it. We are not presenting anything at that stage. It is about understanding your room and what it needs. From there we can begin designing something that actually works for your home.

What does a bespoke kitchen typically cost?

It depends on a number of things: the size of your room, the materials and finishes you choose, the appliances you include, and how much detail goes into the storage and internal fittings. Because every kitchen is different, the range is genuinely wide. What we can say is that a Mastercraft kitchen is a considered investment, designed to last and built properly. We will give you honest, transparent pricing once we understand your project, so you can make a clear decision.

Can you work with unusual rooms, alcoves or awkward layouts?

Yes, and these are often the most interesting rooms to work with. Alcoves, chimney breasts, sloping ceilings and walls that cannot move are all resolved at the design stage. Because we make your kitchen ourselves, we are not limited to standard sizes. Everything is built to fit your room exactly.

Do you work on larger renovation projects or extensions?

Yes. When a kitchen is part of a wider building project, having design and manufacturing handled by one team is genuinely useful. We can work alongside your architect or builder, design to the dimensions of the new space, and time manufacturing to fit the wider programme. There are no delays caused by poor coordination between separate suppliers.

What styles of kitchen can you design and build?

We work across a wide range of styles, from classic shaker designs to handleless kitchens with a cleaner, more contemporary feel. The style is determined by your home and your taste, not by a limited catalogue. We will talk through what suits your property and the way you want the room to feel.

How is the kitchen actually manufactured?

Your kitchen is built in our own UK workshop. Every cabinet is fully assembled before it leaves, not delivered as flat-pack components to be put together on site. That means tighter tolerances, a more consistent finish, and a result that holds up properly over time. You can read more about our approach to quality and manufacturing if you want more detail.

Do I need to find my own installer, or is that included?

Installation is part of the process. The team who installs your kitchen is part of Mastercraft. You do not need to find or manage a separate installer. Everything is handled by the same people who designed and built it, which means nothing gets lost in translation.

What if my Beeston home has a smaller or more compact kitchen space?

Compact rooms often benefit more from a truly bespoke approach than larger ones. When space is limited, every centimetre matters and standard sizes rarely use the room well. We design your kitchen to make full use of what you have, with storage and layout thought through carefully from the start.

Do you supply appliances as well as cabinetry?

Yes. We can specify and supply appliances as part of your project, integrated into the design from the beginning rather than added afterwards. Having appliances chosen and integrated at the design stage means everything works together properly, both practically and visually.

How far in advance should I get in touch if I am planning a kitchen?

The earlier the better, particularly if your kitchen is part of a building project or renovation with a fixed programme. For a straightforward remodel, getting in touch two to three months before you want installation to begin gives us good working time. But even if your timeline is less certain, an early conversation is useful and costs you nothing.

Is there a showroom I can visit to see the kitchens in person?

We have a store where you can see materials, finishes and cabinetry in person. That said, the most useful conversation always happens at your home, where we can see the room and begin designing around it properly. Many people find it helpful to visit the store first, then follow up with a home consultation when they are ready to move forward.
