Your Kitchen, Designed for Your Blackpool Home
Whether you live in a Victorian guest house near the seafront, a seaside apartment, or a family semi, your kitchen is designed specifically for your space, not adapted from something drawn for a different kind of home.

A bespoke kitchen design for a Blackpool home by Mastercraft Kitchens
Designed Around Your Home
Good kitchen design starts with the room itself. The light, how you move through the space, where it connects to the rest of the house. Layout and proportions come first. Once those are right, the visual decisions follow from them naturally. We work through that in order, because getting it the wrong way round shows in the finished result.
Blackpool has a wide range of housing, and the properties here reflect that. A Victorian guest house brings high ceilings, deep rooms and period features. A seafront apartment might be compact, with light coming from one direction. A family semi has its own layout logic entirely. Each one sets a different starting point, and your kitchen is designed to sit within that architecture, not placed over it.
Alcoves, chimney breasts, sloping ceilings, walls that cannot move: these are worked through at the design stage, not dealt with on the day. By the time manufacturing begins, every dimension is confirmed and every constraint is already resolved. Nothing is left to be figured out once your kitchen is being fitted.
Your kitchen is designed individually, built in our own UK workshop, and installed by the same team throughout. One process, one point of responsibility. The person who designs it understands exactly how it will be made, because both things happen within the same practice.

Crafted Cabinetry, Built to Last
Your kitchen is made in our own UK workshop, built specifically for your home. Every cabinet arrives on site fully assembled, not as flat-pack components put together in your kitchen. Factory assembly produces tighter tolerances and a more consistent finish. It also means the quality is set before anything reaches your home, not dependent on what happens during installation.
The same standard runs through the whole kitchen, not just the parts you see every day. Drawer runners, hinges, interior fittings: all specified and finished to the same level as the doors and worktops. The parts you rarely look at are built to the same standard as the ones you do. That is what determines how well your kitchen holds up over years of daily use.
Because we make your kitchen ourselves, we are not working from a catalogue of standard sizes. If your room needs an unusual width, a run of cabinetry beneath a sloping ceiling, or something specific to how your space is shaped, we design and build it exactly as required. You can read more about how we approach quality and manufacturing on that page.
Your Blackpool Kitchen Project, Handled from Start to Finish
From your first conversation through to the day your kitchen is handed over, the whole project sits with Mastercraft. Design, manufacturing, installation: one team, one process. You are not left coordinating separate trades or chasing progress between contractors. There are no gaps in responsibility because everything moves forward under the same roof, managed by the same people throughout.
The designers who plan your kitchen understand exactly how it will be built. The team who builds it knows what was designed and why. That continuity makes a real practical difference, particularly when your room has unusual features or specific constraints. No one arrives on site seeing your drawings for the first time and making decisions that should have been made weeks earlier.
Victorian guest houses, seafront apartments, family semis: each one brings a different starting point. Your project is treated on its own terms. We do not run a standard programme drawn up for a generic house and adjust it to fit. We start from your property and work forward from there.
Your cabinetry is manufactured to the exact dimensions of your room, measured precisely before anything is made. When installation begins, everything arrives ready to fit. There are no last-minute adjustments on site to compensate for things that were not properly accounted for at the design stage.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a bespoke kitchen project take from start to finish?
It varies depending on the complexity of your room and the level of detail involved, but as a general guide you should allow several months from your initial consultation to installation. The design stage takes time to do properly, and manufacturing follows once everything is confirmed. We will give you a realistic timeline at the outset so you can plan around it.
What happens at the first consultation?
We come to your home, look at the space properly, and talk through what you are hoping to achieve. It is a practical conversation, not a sales meeting. We want to understand the room, how you use it, and what is not working about the current setup. From there we can start thinking about what the right design might look like.
Can you work with awkward or unusual rooms?
Yes, and those are often the most interesting projects. Unusual rooms need more careful design, not less. If your kitchen has a chimney breast, a sloping ceiling, an alcove, or a layout that does not follow a standard plan, we work all of that through at the design stage. By the time manufacturing begins, every constraint has already been resolved.
What styles of kitchen do you design and make?
We design kitchens across a wide range of styles, from classic in-frame and shaker designs through to clean, handleless layouts. The style we recommend depends on your home, the architecture, and what you are drawn to. We do not push a particular look. We start from your space and help you find what fits it best.
What does a bespoke kitchen typically cost?
Bespoke kitchens vary considerably depending on the size of the room, the materials you choose, the appliances included, and the level of storage detail. A smaller, well-specified kitchen will sit at a different level to a large open-plan space with extensive cabinetry and premium worktops. As a guide, most of our projects fall in the range of £25,000 to £80,000 or more, but the right way to think about it is as an investment in your home rather than a line-item purchase. We will talk through costs honestly at the consultation, once we understand what your project actually involves.
Do you work on larger renovation projects or extensions?
Yes. Having design and manufacturing under one roof is particularly useful when a kitchen is part of a wider building project, such as a rear extension or a full ground-floor remodel. We can work alongside your architect or builder, and because we control the manufacturing ourselves, we can coordinate timing more precisely than a supplier working from a separate factory. Your kitchen is designed to fit the finished space, and we can work to a programme that suits the wider build.
How is a bespoke kitchen different from what I would get at a kitchen showroom?
A showroom works from a range of fixed door styles, cabinet sizes and configurations. Your kitchen is designed around what is available in that range. With Mastercraft, your kitchen is designed around your room. The cabinetry is made to the exact dimensions of your space, which means layouts, proportions and storage solutions that simply are not possible with standard units. The design starts from scratch every time.
Where are your kitchens manufactured?
In our own UK workshop. Every cabinet is built there, fully assembled, before it arrives at your home. We do not outsource manufacturing. That means we control quality directly, and the team installing your kitchen is working with cabinetry they know was built to the right standard.
Do you handle the installation yourselves, or do you use subcontractors?
We handle installation ourselves. The team fitting your kitchen understands how it was designed and how it was built. There are no handovers to a third party and no one arriving on site who is unfamiliar with your project. That matters particularly in rooms with specific constraints, where decisions made during fitting need to match decisions made during design.
Do you work with a particular type of property, or any home in Blackpool?
Any home. We work across all kinds of Blackpool properties, from Victorian guest houses and period terraces to seafront apartments and family semis. Each brings different proportions, different challenges and a different starting point. The process is the same regardless: we design around the room you have, not around a template drawn up for a different kind of space.
Can I choose my own appliances, or do you supply everything?
We can advise on appliances and supply them as part of the project, or work with appliances you have already chosen or purchased. Either way, they are fully integrated into the design from the outset rather than fitted around a finished kitchen afterwards. Getting appliance dimensions and specifications confirmed early is part of how we make sure everything fits and works properly.
What worktop materials do you work with?
We work with a wide range of materials including natural stone, engineered stone, solid wood, and more. The right choice depends on your kitchen, how you use it, and the overall look you are working towards. We will talk through the options with you during the design process and help you find something that works practically as well as visually.
