This is a narrow pull-out storage system specifically designed for 150mm base cabinets, using Blum's LEGRABOX drawer technology. It comprises two pull-out drawers at different heights with soft-close runners, turning what's often an awkward narrow space into practical storage for bottles, spices, and cooking essentials.
Where It Fits
You'll position this in narrow base cabinets, typically between appliances or at the end of a run where a standard 600mm cabinet won't fit. It works particularly well in galley kitchens or where you're maximising every centimetre of space. Your cabinet needs to be at least 453mm deep internally and 512mm high to accommodate the system.
How It Works
Two separate pull-out drawers operate independently on full-extension runners. The taller drawer sits below the shorter one, and both pull out completely so you can access items at the back. The BLUMOTION system provides soft-close action, preventing the drawers from slamming shut even when fully loaded.
Why It Matters
Narrow cabinets often become dead space where things get lost at the back or stored inefficiently. This system brings everything forward to eye level and fingertip reach. You can see and access oil bottles, vinegars, spice jars, or cleaning supplies without having to move other items or reach blindly into dark corners.
Build Quality
The carbon black matt finish resists fingerprints and complements contemporary kitchen designs. Each drawer can hold up to 20kg, supported by Blum's full-extension runners that are built for daily use. Non-slip matting prevents items from sliding around, and the system comes with branded Blum cover caps for a finished appearance.
Options
You can choose between Pure and Free versions. The Pure option gives you solid drawer sides throughout. The Free version includes clear glass sides on the shorter upper drawer, which can help you identify contents at a glance. Both versions include the same runner system and weight capacity.
Design Consideration
This works best when you genuinely need to maximise narrow spaces and have items that suit vertical storage. If your narrow cabinet could accommodate deeper items or if you rarely use what would go in this space, a simple shelf might serve you better. Consider what you'll actually store here before specifying it.
