This is Blum's cross divider system for organising LEGRABOX drawers. The kit includes a rail that runs across the width of your drawer, with dividers that create angled slots perfect for storing lids, chopping boards, and similar flat items upright.

Where It Fits

The cross divider works specifically with LEGRABOX drawer systems. It's particularly useful in wide, deep drawers where you need to keep lids and boards accessible rather than stacked flat. Many people find it works well in the drawer beneath the hob where you're storing pans and their matching lids.

How It Works

The rail spans across your drawer width, and the lateral dividers create individual slots. Instead of lids lying flat in a pile, they sit at an angle in their own compartments. You can see what you need at a glance and lift items out without disturbing others.

Why It Matters

Lids are awkward to store well. Stack them flat and you're always lifting several to reach the one underneath. This system keeps each lid visible and independently accessible, which makes cooking flow more smoothly when you're reaching for specific pieces.

Design Consideration

This works best when you have multiple lids or boards of similar height to store. If you only have a few items, or they vary greatly in size, the individual slots might feel excessive. The system also requires enough drawer depth to accommodate items stored at an angle.
